Requesting Repetitive Loss Data from FEMA

In this article:

Forerunner's Repetitive Loss Module now makes it easy to securely manage your community's repetitive loss data. In order to add repetitive loss data to Forerunner, your community must request this data from your FEMA region.

(Note that in order to access the Repetitive Loss Module in Forerunner, you also must have the module added to your account by a Forerunner Team Member; there may be additional costs associated with adding this module to your account. Learn more about the features in the Repetitive Loss Module.)

Requesting Data from FEMA

Repetitive loss data must be requested directly from your FEMA region. The FEMA region you're in will ask you to complete a request form and will have you enter into a data sharing agreement with FEMA prior to sending you any data. Your community should add Forerunner to the data sharing agreement as a Contractor. If you require additional information from Forerunner to do this, please let us know by contacting support@withforerunner.com, or reaching out to your Forerunner customer success team contact.

Adding Repetitive Loss Data into Forerunner

Once you have made a formal request to FEMA, you should receive your data from them in the format of a .csv. This should then be provided to Forerunner for import into the Forerunner system. To transfer this information to Forerunner securely, please connect your Forerunner customer success team contact or reach out to us at support@withforerunner.com for further instruction.
