Sharing Elevation Certificates

Forerunner makes it easy to share elevation certificates (ECs) with issues directly with surveyors or any other external parties, helping you receive corrected ECs more quickly.

Sharing a processed EC

Any logged-in Forerunner user can share an EC and its related issues.

To get started, log in to your Forerunner account and navigate to any processed EC file.
Click on the Actions menu in the top right corner of your screen, then click Share .
Enter the name, role, email address and any other information you'd like to share along with the EC file and related Issues.
You can optionally cc yourself onto the email notification that is generated or add a record for this email interaction into your account's Logs.
When you're ready, click Send .

Note: Sharing an EC will appear in your account's activity feed. This can help you keep track of communications that are sent to external parties, even in situations where sharing may not have been added as a Log.

Viewing a shared EC without a Forerunner log in

Recipients can view an EC that has been shared with them by following the link they receive via email. These recipients do not need to create a user account or log into Forerunner to view shared files or issues, but will be unable to make edits or view any information that requires an account.

Your recipient will receive an email notification with a link to view the EC and related issues in Forerunner.
Clicking the link will take them to a read-only version of the EC. There, they'll be able to view the original file, extracted fields, and any remaining issues that were automatically detected by Forerunner.
They can also download the file or view the related property on your community's Forerunner public website.

Limitations

Please note that ECs can only be shared when the following are true:

The EC has been uploaded and has finished processing in Forerunner.
The EC is not hidden from public.
Your account has a Forerunner public website enabled.
