While we have built a robust pipeline to extract data from your Elevation Certificates, these documents are often handwritten, copied and re-copied, and otherwise have quality issues that can cause our system to mis-interpret or mis-transcribe a value. If you notice an issue with your Elevation Certificate transcription, you can report a data issue in multiple ways. These reports help inform our development and ensure we are continuing to build out our document extraction pipeline to meet your needs.

To Report a Data Issue that is Triggering an Incorrect Warning or Error
Our EC Error Detection feature often relies on the transcription of data in an EC to complete a full compliance review. This means that if a transcription is incorrect, it can trigger an error or warning on the EC that will show in the Issues Tab
of the Elevation Certificate Document View
. You will know this has occurred when the value listed for the field in the Issues
tab shows a different value than the one seen on the EC.
You can report these transcription errors directly from the Issues Tab
.
- Scroll to the issue with the error and click the
...
button next to the error. - Select
Report issue
in the drop down menu. - A pop-up modal will appear where you can explain the issue you're experiencing. You will notice that the issue information is already entered into the pop-up modal. To describe your transcription concern, enter your notes in the
Data Issue
section of the pop-up, replacing Describe data issue here... with your own notes. ClickSave
to submit your issue to the Forerunner team for review.
Once an issue is submitted, the Forerunner team will review the issue and reach out to you via email with any additional questions, explanations, or resolutions, as appropriate.
