I'm a new user, how do I create an account?

To make an account, contact the Forerunner administrator on your team. If you're not sure who that is, send us an email at support@withforerunner.com and we'll let you know!

What should I do if I forgot my password?

No worries, we forget our passwords all the time! Go to app.withforerunner.com to access the login screen. Under the Password field, you'll find a blue reset link titled "Forgot your password?". Clicking that will prompt you to enter your email address. We'll send next steps for resetting your password to your inbox. If you want to change your password while logged in, you can do so in the Settings section of your dashboard.

When I try to access app.withforerunner.com I encounter an error.

It's possible that you might be trying to access Forerunner's dashboard using an unsupported browser. Read about the browsers that we support here. If you're still having difficulty, contact us at support@withforerunner.com.

What documents can I upload to Forerunner?

Our extraction process and file management feature currently support Elevation Certificates in PDF format.

Why haven't all of my Elevation Certificates processed?

Depending on how long our queue is, your EC extraction might take a few hours to show up. Our pipeline is set up to notify you of completed EC extractions at 1:00 am ET. You'll receive an email at that time listing successful EC extractions. If you don't see a document on the list, this might be because our pipeline's validation process flagged something we need to take a closer look at. Since our goal is to deliver highly accurate transcriptions to you, some ECs might take a little while longer to run through all of our validation checks. That being said, if you submit an EC to Forerunner and it isn't extracted within 48 hours, please contact us for support!

I have a lot of ECs to process at once and uploading 10 at a time is a pain. Are there alternatives?

Totally! Just shoot us an email at support@withforerunner.com and we can send you a custom upload link.

Why won't my data export work?

When you submit a data export request through Forerunner, your data is packaged and emailed to you. If you don't receive your export via email (remember to check the email inbox associated with Forerunner!), make sure that the delivery didn't land in your spam folder. Depending on your email settings, the file might arrive a few hours late. 

I've encountered a broken link or button. What should I do?

How can I learn about updates to the product?

We're very glad you want to learn more! There are several ways to keep up-to-date with new additions to Forerunner. If you are a current user, you'll automatically receive regular product update emails. Be sure to add support@withforerunner.com to your approved list of senders so that our emails don't go to your spam folder! You can also view all of our product updates anytime on our changelog. Lastly, if you would like your product information alongside a heaping of floodplain management content, please sign up for our newsletter. They're sent every two months so you won't get bogged down with information from us!

I have a suggestion that I think will make Forerunner better. How can I pass my idea on?
