Sharing Property Information with the General Public

You can send property information to a member of the general public using Forerunner’s Share public profiles feature.

This feature will allow you to email the public profile directly to someone, or copy the link to the public profile for use by the general public. You can also use this feature to print a public profile.

Note that this is a view-only version of the property profile, which includes a limited amount of information. The general public will not be able to edit or delete any information included in the profile. If you have concerns about the information contained on a public profile, please contact your support team at support@withforerunner.com.

Sharing Property Information via Email

To share property information with members of the public via email:

  1. Navigate to the property on your Forerunner dashboard by either clicking on the property on your Map or using the Search feature.
  2. On the Property Information Panel, click Share public profile in the upper left, just below the property address.
  3. In the pop-up modal, fill in the Recipient’s first name, the Recipient's last name and the Recipient's email address. Select the Recipient type that best describes the person you will be sharing the property with.
  4. If you’d like to receive a copy of the email that is sent to the recipient, check the box labelled Copy yourself on email.
  5. If you’d like to also create a log of the email, showing that you sent this information to a member of the public, select the check box labelled Create new resident log. This will add the log to both the Logs tab on the property and to your global Resident Log.
  6. Click Send.

You should receive a pop-up notification that the property information was sent and the recipient should receive an email from support@withforerunner.com with a link to a public profile of the property.

If you selected Copy yourself on email: You should receive an exact copy of the email that was sent, including the link to the property profile.

If you selected Create new resident logThe confirmation pop-up notification will include an option to Add Log Information. This can be used to add additional context to the log that was created, such as why the person was asking for information. To add information:

  1. Click the Add Log Information button on the confirmation pop-up. You’ll be taken to the log record that was created for sharing the property.
  2. Click the Edit Log button.
  3. Update the fields in the log.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Copying the Property Information Link

If you would prefer to share a public profile online using another method, you can simply copy and paste the link to the public profile. This might be used when, for example, you want to send the link in your own email, you’d like to send it over a chat, or you’d like to link to it in a document. To copy a Public Profile link:

  1. Navigate to the property on your Forerunner dashboard by either clicking on the property on your Map or using the Search feature.
  2. On the Property Information Panel, click Share public profile in the upper left, just below the property address.
  3. In the pop-up modal, click Copy url link.
  4. You can then paste the link into your email, chat window or document.

Sharing Property Information in Print

If you prefer to share a public property profile by printing out a hard copy of the page:

  1. Navigate to the property on your Forerunner dashboard by either clicking on the property on your Map or using the Search feature.
  2. On the Property Information Panel, click Share public profile in the upper left, just below the property address.
  3. In the pop-up modal, click View public profile.
  4. In the upper right-hand corner of the profile, click Print page.
